Jedward will be on Noel's Christmas Presents this Sunday 18th Dec at 6.30pm on Sky 1:

Olivia Hext and her family won’t forget this Christmas in a hurry – after Noel sent them on a magical break to Lapland.
It was Olivia’s dream to visit Santa’s home and a trip mum Sarah and dad Dave had often promised her, as much of their time is devoted to her younger brothers Spencer and Harvey, who have Down’s syndrome.
But last year their plans fell apart, when Harvey was diagnosed with neuroblastoma cancer. He is the only Down’s syndrome child in the world believed to have it and had to begin a gruelling course of treatment, often hundreds of miles from the family home in Bristol. Depending on the results of upcoming tests he may need to travel to Germany or America for lifesaving treatment, at a cost of £300,000. As a result family and friends have launched The Harvey Hext Appeal.
Throughout this ordeal difficult time brave Olivia, nine, has proved a huge support to her parents, despite having to endure long periods away from them. Determined to reward her, Noel sent the whole family off on a winter wonderland adventure, which began as soon as they arrived in the snowy resort of Saariselka, in northern Finland.

Highlights included seeing the famous Northern Lights, going on a reindeer ride, cuddling husky puppies – and of course meeting Santa himself.
And just when Olivia thought it couldn’t get any better Noel pulled off one last surprise. He’d sent singing twins Jedward – who dressed up as Santa’s elves - to keep her entertained!

The Hext family flew to Lapland courtesy of Finnair (www.finnair.com). Special thanks to all the donating companies who made this possible: www.saariselka.fi, www.tunturihotelli.fi, www.villipohjola.fi, www.santasresort.fi, www.kamisak.com
The Harvey Hext Appeal is run in conjunction with the charity Families Against Neuroblastoma. The money raised will be held for Harvey throughout his childhood, should he need it at any point. If it has not been used by then, it will go to Families Against Neuroblastoma.
